About Virtual Press Office

Hello, I’m Maria, I have over 25 years’ experience of working in public relations. I’m a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and I have a degree in my subject. My experience spans working in busy public relations consultancies working with top brands, setting up my own public relations agency in 2008, and for the last few years, I have worked in-house on a consultancy basis.

I set up the Virtual Press Office to help growing companies who have a need, but not a full-time one, for a press office function. I pride myself in becoming part of my clients’ teams to achieve the best results. Brimming with ideas, I often spot opportunities for stories to tell to the media, or through content for my clients’ socials or websites.

We work and have worked with clients in many different sectors, and pride ourselves in gaining quick knowledge in pretty much anything! Our experience includes technology, business consulting, energy, construction, retail, FMCG, bereavement, supply chain, white goods, teddy bears… and lots more.

Clients typically spend between £1,000.00 to £2,000.00 per month with us, working to an agreed set of objectives and potential outcomes.

Each client is different. Some prefer a monthly round-up report, while others prefer a weekly snap-shot email. This is something we would agree with you.
